Sheri Englund, PhD

A former Ivy League acquisitions editor, Sheri Englund has worked directly with writers for twenty years. After working in acquisitions at the University of Texas Press, Englund joined Cornell University Press, where she was the editor responsible for Cornell's distinguished list in American history, as well as lists in anthropology, gender studies, and the New York region. She was managing editor for "Voices," the journal of the New York Folklore Society, from 2004 to 2012 and currently serves as science writer/editor for Cornell's Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future. Englund holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
